You are so right...AMEN!
I believe that God brings us to places where we MUST depend on Him. Sometimes we find ourselves with no place else to turn, praise Him for that! Realizing that it is He who is drawing us near to Him through our circumstances can help us to submit to Him as our Father who is doing just what you said in your previous post. Growing us, changing us, perfecting us in His image.
You are in a refining process right now and are surrendering yourself to His will. You've chosen not to fight but to accept and to embrace what God has for you through all of it. You will be blessed. Hang in there. He is your help and your comfort. Loneliness can be one of the sweetest things in the world when we know that God is using that to bring us close to His heart - a place of dependency on Him. I can only imagine how hard it must be to be on your own with your six little blessings and your husband so far away. I can understand, as I have been there before, that your husband may not understand your emotional state right now and may not be able to meet your needs for closeness and security. If this is where you are, take this time to just press into the One who can meet all our needs. Pray for your husband without ceasing that He would be brought to this place as well in his own life and in this time of being away from his precious family. I believe the devil hates it when we pray for our husbands. He would love to destroy our marriages. But raise your sword and protect the gates of your home! Prayer is powerful and though we may not see instant results, God hears our cries and is working on the hearts of our husbands. It is a righteous prayer, not a selfish one, when we lift up our husbands every moment that we can - asking God to woo them unto Himself. Asking God to prepare their hearts for their calling as husbands and fathers... This post is beautiful and is so very, very true. May you find ALL your needs met through Him that strengthens, fortifies and sustains.
